There is nothing I can add to this topic. The Berlin Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe is an entire city block within walking distance of the Brandenburg Gate and across the street from the Tiergarten. Hopefully, these photos of the gray stone rectangles undulating across the space will speak for themselves. Some lie low to the ground like abandoned coffins; others thrust up into the sky from the stone paver grid of walkways.

Across the street, just within the gates of the Tiergarten, is the Monument to Homosexuals Persecuted Under National Socialist Regime. A single, dark stone monolith, within its viewing window was a film of two men kissing.
